WHO IS NAVIGATOR PROJECTS?

Navigator Projects is Jeroen Jousma. I have been active in the shipbuilding industry for 15 years after completing my studies Naval Architecture at the Haarlem Polytechnic. In that period I have been contracted by several yards and ship-owners active in different areas like patrol vessels, crew tenders, fast suppliers, yachts, workboats, fishing vessels and cargo vessels. The yards and projects were in Holland, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Czech Republic, Poland and Syria.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Responsible for the delivery of vessels within the given standards for quality, budget and delivery time
Communicating with international clients from contract signing till delivery
Managing building teams formed by various disciplines like engineering, job-preparation, procurement, production and sub-contractors
Communicating with National Authorities, Class organisations and surveyors
Supervising hull building, outfitting, commissioning, sea-trials en deliveries
Drawing up of schedules and controlling the progress
Developing and improving various types of ships
Advising about and implementation of organisation- and process changes
